Ice kitchen

Last saturday, Oct. 10th went to Ice Kitchen in Westport to celebrate my daughters 22nd birthday. Great martini's, I really liked the So Martini. Which was a dirty vodka martini made w/ Russian potato Chopin Vodka. We liked the Dreamsicle Martini also. We also ordered several tapas. Including the acorn squash gnochi, the sea bass, and the citrus scallops. It was fun and interesting to share. I liked the concept, but my husband prefers having his own meal.

The deserts were really good. Especially funnel cake, and the cookie dough desert.

This would be a fun place to go for a girls night out. Plus you can go to other bars while you are in Westport and then just get a room at the Sheraton so you don't have to drive.

We had a blast at the Trainwreck. Fun music to dance too. Then we went to Main Street St. Charles . First to Tuners, not my kind of place. Older crowd. Skye bar was more my kind of place. It is a Hookah Bar. Where you purchase different flavors of tobacco. We got the strawberry; and smoke it out of a elaborate pipes. The music was hip hop w/ a back room for dancing. Fun night.

Next time I will take pictures of the food. If you are like me, you want to see what the food looks like.

This coming Sat. night we are going out for my birthday. I will tell you all about that also.

My husband booked the chefs table at Vin de Set. Which is famous for their roof top bar. There is 8 of us going and we want to ride together so we are taking my brothers RV. I hope we can find a place to park.
