I have been to M & S's for lunch, for happy hour, and for desert.
They fly in fresh fish twice a day for their lunch service and then again for the dinner service.
They were also voted one of the top places in St. Louis for Happy Hours. They have a $1.95 menu, a $2.95 menu and a $3.95 menu for happy hours. On Wednesdays is their "Bar Party" from 4-7pm. $3.95 Schlafly Drafts & Bottles and
$1 Oysters, and $5.95 for 1/2 lb. of Buffalo Shrimp!
They also have a "Preferred Guest Membership" which I recommend. It is $25 fee, which you get back as a $25 dining credit on your card, plus 100 points. One point per dollar that you spend each time you visit. You also get Priority Seating,(next available),Birthdays you also get a $30 dining credit.
* Also you get a Amuse Bouch each time you come! A amuse bouch means "to please the mouth". It is a tempting appetizer that a chef provides free at the beginning of the meal. We took our friends there for desert after our evening at Bravo for and each person recieved an Amuse Bouch which was a white Bailys Truffle. http://www.mccormicksandschmicks.com/ You can sign up for the Preferred Guests program online!
The next thing they are known for is a desert that is not on the menu. It is the "Famous Chocolate Bag"! A chocolate bag filled w/ white chocolate mouse and topped w/ berries! Enough to share between 2-4 people. (about $12)
On the lunch menu they offer a Daily Chef's Special and 10 items under $10. The lunch special we got was the Yellowtail Flounder from Georges Banks. Pan seared w/ Butternut Squash Cannelloni and Thyme Butter.($9.95)
Save some money and go for a great lunch or for Happy Hour! Don't forget desert!
