MONARCH

Monarch is located in Maplewood and is a upscale Cajun dining experience. The building has been newly remodeled and features a beautiful dining room, a very nice bar area, and about 3 private dining spaces.  There is a private chef's room / skybox that you can reserve for up to 10 people that overlooks all the action of the kitchen.  Chef Josh Galliano is a native of Louisiana and his cooking skills feature dishes traditional to New Orleans.

Amuse Bouche:  Country Ham with dried cherries and pistachio's

Boudin Balls $7  Cajun pork and rice sausage coted with Japanese bread crumbs

Pheasant and chestnut puree garnished with chopped chestnuts and chicken con fit.

Bloody Mary Oyster Shooters

Crawfish Bread $7  rich bread filled with cheesy crawfish etouffee

Duck Special:  $28   Roasted Honey Glazed Duck with roasted turnips, apples and pistachio salad and a braised Duck leg spring roll .

Tasso Pork Chop $25  apple and sweet potato gratin , smothered greens, and grain mustard sauce




 

Third Coast Bouillabaisse $19 saute of Gulf Seafood, Escolar, Shrimp and Mussels, fennel, grilled new potatoes,  crostini

Sweet Potato Wrapped Catfish  $18  served with roasted mushrooms, braised red cabbage, Bourbon Barrel smoked salt, sage, beurre blanc
